Screening of Youth Climate Report
15 Jun 2012 - 15 Jun 2012
1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Athletes Park, UNEP Pavilion

The Youth Climate Report project was created by Canadian environmentalist, lawyer and film producer John Kelly to provide international policy-makers with the most current climate research data from around the world at UN conferences. Produced with Holly Lee and Mark Terry, YCR represents the third film presentation on climate research made by the Canadian production team, Neko Harbour Entertainment.

In 2009 at COP15 in Copenhagen, Mark Terry presented The Antarctica Challenge: A Global Warning, screening his film more than 25 times to delegates attending the UNís climate summit. The next year at COP16 in Cancun, Mark presented his follow-up film, The Polar Explorer, this time providing valuable research from the field in the Arctic, as well as updated research from Antarctica. The following year, John launched Youth Climate Report in Durban at COP17, renewing our partnership with UNEP to present films from this project on a regular basis at key environmental conferences at which UNEP participates in 2012 and beyond.
