Accommodation levels in Rio de Janeiro are anticipated to be at full occupancy during the conference. While it is not the responsibility of the United Nations to procure accommodation for the media, it should be noted that the Brazilian national organizing committee for Rio+20 has committed to blocking a minimum of 500 hotel rooms in Rio de Janeiro for media covering the conference. ZSL +20 The Future WE Want ? Solutions for a better Planet
Delegates from Acland Burghley School, Camden School for Girls, Coopers Technology College, King Alfred School, Parliament Hill School, The American School in London and Westminster Academy AGREED that the following key actions should be incorporated and promoted when working to address the critical issues for the establishment of sustainable development and the future we want:

Oceans: Establish and increase the coverage of Marine Protected Areas
Jobs: Promote the creation of more green jobs locally
Energy: Encourage countries to work together to share renewable resources
Cities: Encourage development of green rooftops in cities
Food: Reduce food waste
Water: Encourage and promote the development of solar powered desalinisation plants
Disasters: Increase funding for early warning systems
