UNIDOs activities for the implementation of the Montreal Protocol are aligned with the Green Industry concept and aim to protect the ozone layer by taking measures to control and ultimately trying to eliminate total global production and consumption of ozone-depleting
substances on the basis of developments in scientific knowledge and technological innovation.
