Hotels for Press
Accommodation levels in Rio de Janeiro are anticipated to be at full occupancy during the conference. While it is not the responsibility of the United Nations to procure accommodation for the media, it should be noted that the Brazilian national organizing committee for Rio+20 has committed to blocking a minimum of 500 hotel rooms in Rio de Janeiro for media covering the conference. Stakeholder Forum Invites Responses to Survey on Water, Energy, Food Security Nexus
Stakeholder Forum has launched a stakeholder survey on the connections between water, energy and food security and challenges in taking a multisectoral approach.
The survey is being conducted as part of the consultation process toward the upcoming Bonn 2011 Conference, titled ?The Water Energy and Food Security Nexus ? Solutions for the Green Economy.?
According to Stakeholder Forum, responses to the survey will provide direct inputs to the Conference, as well as to the preparatory process for the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20), and a synthesis report of submissions will be sent to all respondents.
