Water Youth Movement
Nowadays, every corner of the world faces unique and pervasive water challenges. The current water crisis hits us, children and youth, hard. The world?s youth are particularly vulnerable to the detrimental effects of increasing water scarcity and pollution. The impacts on health, nutrition, development, and conflict limit our freedom and opportunities to achieve our full potential, build up good lives and contribute to the societies to which we belong. It is obvious that we, the youth of the world, have the important responsibility to get involved in the decision making on water. The future is ours!

The World Water Forum gives us the chance to speak up and to get involved in the process leading up to the 6th World Water Forum in Marseille. We are invited to think about and contribute to the targets set by the World Water Community.

The Water Youth Movement is an open project initiated by young people from the Netherlands and France, and is supported by the 6th World Water Forum Secretariat.

This is why we would like you to join our talks. You can find us on Facebook, our website, join our Forum or have debates with your friends and colleagues on water - and tell us through the forum about your thoughts and solutions on the water crisis.
