Establishment of the Policy and Regulation Research Institute on Environmental Emergency Management under the cooperation with UNEP
How this will be achieved
Green our campus. We declared a Green Campus and Civilization Campus Construction Proposal to all of our university members in December 2009. We are committed to further construction of a more green and energy saving campus in RUC.
Encourage research on sustainable development issues. We will continue to support development of the High Research Institute of Sustainable Development (founded in RUC at October 2009) and the establishment of the Policy and Regulation Research Institute on Environmental Emergency Management under the cooperation with UNEP, the related MOU was signed by RUC and UNEP at Beijing in 15 November 2011.
Teach sustainable development. We commit to teaching concepts, supporting sustainability efforts and engaging with and sharing results through international frameworks like UNEP.
