Higher Education Sustainability Initiative - Griffith Business School, Griffith University
Organization(s) making commitment
Griffith Business School, Griffith University
Achievement of Commitment
Griffith Business School (GBS) is committed to embedding the Principles for Responsible Management Education across all of its programs and courses. We will assist faculty by providing regular workshops and seminars to help them to understand the importance of this commitment and how they can become involved. We will report back to PRME via regular Sharing of Information on Progress reports which will describe what we have done.
How this will be achieved
In addition GBS has implemented an eco-office program to back up this commitment. The eco-office program is currently being rolled out across all of our campuses and includes ways to increase energy efficiency and decrease waste disposal.
On a higher level, Griffith University now has an ongoing commitment to the environment and sustainability and has recognised the role Higher Education can play in addressing the challenges of sustainability.
Project Officers have been appointed for each of these committed areas to assist GBS to measure its success and report on its goals.
