The Global Oceans Forum will hold a briefing and discussion on ocean analyses it is carrying out. Goals resulting from the UN Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) and World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD) will be discussed. Topics will include: climate change and oceans; biodiversity and networks of Marine Protected Areas (MPAs); small island developing States (SIDS); oceans in the ?blue? green economy; and international environmental governance.
